Since the summer of 2007, the Hohe Tauern National Park Center will be opening in Mittersill, a unique world of alpine experiences and a communication center for the entire National Park region.
In 9 different exhibition rooms, visitors will have an opportunity to experience and comprehend the extraordinary diversity of natural resources in the Hohe Tauern National Park. The Hohe Tauern National Park Center is constructed and operated by the Hohe Tauern National Park Center Construction & Management LLC, whose shareholders include the Salzburg National Park Funds and the Salzburg State Board of Tourism, as well as regional tourism associations. The innovative setting and its strong regional roots offer future cooperating partners totally new modes of presentation and image transfer.
